What Happens as you Run Out of Charge?
Many electric vehicles will go into a low-power mode when you've almost depleted the battery's power. When the car's onboard computer calculates that it won't be able to travel much further, it may limit power and acceleration, even if you floor the accelerator pedal.
Though you should try to avoid it, driving an EV in turtle mode is a way to keep the car moving until you can safely arrive at a charge point. If you can't get to a station, turtle mode helps you get off a busy street or at least park the car on the side of the road while you wait for ALL EV CHARGING LLC.
